The OH&S Strategy Summit is one of the premier occupational health and safety events in Australia. Bringing together over 100 of industry's top OHS professionals from leading companies, the Summit is to be held at the Sheraton Mirage Resort on the Gold Coast, Queensland from 6 to 8 March, 2012, which is this week!

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, a work related injury survey indicated a 53 out of every 1000 workers had experience some kind of injury or illness in the workplace.

Australia is also ranked 7th for one of the fastest failing fatality rates among the best performing countries. The Australian workplace is always changing, which also includes the occupational health and safety conditions they create. These changing factors include new technologies and materials, the increasing number of younger and older workers and the workforce challenges encountered.

The OH&S Strategy Summit brings together industry's leading senior OHS professionals to cover a range of topics that are relevant to the day to day safety of industries and businesses, such as warehousing and logistics and supply chain. The Summit will also discuss future predictions, new legislations and new technologies within the country.
